BREAKING NEWS: NDC PRESTEA HUNI-VALLEY ATTACKS JOURNALIST IN ABOSO, AS THEY PREPARE FOR THEIR 2020 BOOT FOR BOOT.







The moral fabric of Mr. Mahama’s NDC was once again brought into disrepute after one of the finest journalist in Prestea Huni-Valley was attacked by irate youth under the command of the NDC Constituency Secretary Mr. Mathew Ayeh in a Rambo style in the NDC’s acclamation of Elder Wisdom Cudjoe as the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Prestea Huni-Valley on Friday, 18/10/2019.

The Journalist, Mr. Azumah had done a live report on Energy FM platform of Mr. Esilfie call that, “any NDC member should vote for any parliamentary candidate whatsoever put forward by NDC”. His accurate report did not go well with the leadership of the NDC, hence, Mr. Mathew Ayeh, in a voice, “said, they are giving the journalist warning for spewing foolishness and garbage”.

Ghanamusthear.com can confirm that, Mr. Esilfie actually said what was reported by the journalist, and that, Mr. Mathew Ayeh is very dishonest and barbaric for ordering his thugs to pounce on the journalist.

It was just fortunate Police Officers in Aboso did an excellent job by recuing the journalist from NDC thugs and drove him away safely. This action by NDC has put lot of journalist and inhabitants of Prestea Huni-Valley under fear, ahead of 2020, since Prestea Huni-Valley is a flash point, as far as election violence is concerned.

It is unfortunate, the NDC which has impoverished Prestea Huni-Valley over the past 8 years under leadership of Mr. Mahama wants to come again, this time, not in piece but with wicked agenda of chaos and intimidation of media freedom.

The Ghana Journalist Association, Civil Society group, other responsible political parties and Mr. Mahama and Mr. Asiedu Nketiah ( tipped as running mate for Election 2020) should call their boys to order. We need peace in Prestea Huni-Valley.
